The end to me,and how Lovborg dies or how he is going to was a bit confusing and odd!
Some lady shot him, Ibsen really didn't explain that, or maybe I missed it. And why was judge making some story up, or rather stretching the truth about how Lovborg came about shot. Maybe if somebody made a Hedda Gabler movie, then I could watch it and it would make sense.

Are you serious... no random lady shot Lovborg he was given a pistol and left and we are supposed to assume that he killed himself

Hedda basically encourages Eilert to kill himself when she gives him one of her father's pistols. She wants himto die a beautiful death and she takes him real seriously in killing himself. We assume Eilert kills himself after he leaves.

It was really odd that everything fell into place only moments into the fourth act. It all occurs so fast and almost out of order. The story that Brack makes up is still a mystery to me. Like the movie idea. There are plenty of images that are going missed when we read this, like the position of furniture, the color contrasts, and the actuall people that woul dplay the characters.

yeah, i was kinda confused on the final verdict of who killed lovborg. cause it said it was that one red-head, but the author also makes it seem like brack did it. plus theirs the original plan that lovborg was supposed to kill himself. so with these 3 possibilities, which one is right?
